Welcome to the "Moulin de Palet" !
In the heart of the famous Anjou vineyard is the Moulin de Palet, located between the historic cities of Saumur and Angers, you will be a stone’s throw from the village of character of Baugé in Anjou.
The moulin de palet was part of the Pallet seigneury and dates from the 12th century. It was used for a very long time as a flour mill and then modified at the beginning of the 20th century to install a turbine used in particular for engraving workshops.
With 2 gîtes and 3 trailers, which can accommodate up to 16 people maximum, our establishment benefits from a central location to be able to access the various riches that Anjou has to offer. You can admire the surrounding castles, visit the cellars of the region or explore many cycling and hiking routes. For the more sporty, kayaking, Baugé golf course, tree climbing and many activities are at your disposal. In terms of visits, there is only the spoilt for choice : Zoo de la Flèche, Terra Botanica, Château de Montgeoffroy etc…
You don’t want to go out, no problem ! Find a quiet spot on the 3-hectare park under the shelter of a tree and simply enjoy the water while listening to the birds singing.
Who we are ?
Falling in love with the sweetness of Angevine and the lights, we left everything behind to live our dream and share it with our guests. Formerly an Aeronautical Engineer, I gave meaning to my life and gave myself the chance to see my family grow up in this magnificent setting bathed in nature. A real return to basics.
Our travelling companions are: Balto our dog (Husky Golden mix), our two horses Upsilon and Jamiroquai as well as our chickens who will offer you delicious eggs for breakfast.
