You will enjoy the calm of our *** campsite at Pont des Fées. A charming village, Le Vieil-Baugé will surprise you in particular with its astonishing church. Its twisted and leaning bell tower is the origin of many legends! Built from the 11th century, the current building is a perfect witness to the evolution of religious architecture. In Pontigné, the Saint-Denis church reopened its doors last June. Remarkable for its twisted bell tower and its Angevin architecture called « Plantagenet« , the church has retained a deep unity. Admire the richness of the sculptures, the polychromy of the capitals and the quality of the wall paintings from the 13th-15th centuries, some of which have been recently updated. These churches are among the twisted bell towers in Europe and are part of the network of welcoming churches in Anjou. Also discover the covered stone dolmen of Pontigné, listed since 1910.
